We are excited to have your new puppy on our puppy plan!

Here are some ideas to help transition your puppy to grooming.

The first grooming session:

Whether your puppy has a haircut or a tidy up will depend on your puppies stress levels and length of coat.  The first grooming sessions are extremely important and sensitive for puppies.  A bad experience will be remembered for life during these learning puppy stages.

Please select and bring your puppies absolutely favourite treat, even if it is a bit rich (such as cheese or roast chicken), this will only be given in small quantities, not an every day treat. For best results, have this treat for grooming sessions only.

Please either bring the combs and brushes you have for grooming, or SMS us some photos, so we can let you know if you have the required tools for your puppies coat type.

Subsequent grooming sessions:

After your puppies first session, we will book 3-4 weekly sessions of tidy ups and full grooming.  You may stretch to 6-8 weekly depending on coat condition, when your puppy is ready to do so.

Face tidies and nail clipping are free in between grooming (by appointment only)*
